Lookup field Update : Flow

• Click on New Flow.

Open

• Select Record Triggered Flow.

Open

• Click on Free form.

• Select File Request object.

• Select when a record is created.

• Drag Decision Element on to the Canvas

• Select All conditions are met and set conditions.

1. Parent Record id – Is Null – False.

2. Parent Record Id – Starts with – first three digit of parent record id (eg: 003).

• Drag Update Records Element on to the Canvas.

• Select the field to update and provide parent record id in value.

• Connect all the elements on the canvas as shown below and save the flow.

• Debug the flow and activate it.
