Login to your Salesforce org where the package is installed.
Please follow the steps below to Install Virtual Inspection.
Permission Sets
Click on Setup.
Search for Permission Sets
Click on “Virtual Inspection(Truepic)” Permission Set.
Click on Manage Assignment.
Add the Users who should have the Permission to use this application by clicking on Add Assignments.
Update Credentials (Protected Setting: Needs to be updated by Cloud Maven):
Click on the Gear Icon Go to Setup.
Search for Custom Settings.
Click on Truepic Credentials 🡪 Manage.
Update the Client Id, Client Secret and Customer Id provided by the Truepic.
Update the Credentials by Clicking “Edit”.
Save the Record.
Virtual Inspection Field Mapping:
This setting will be used to auto populate the Inspection form with the values from the Source Object. Make an entry in this setting to Map the Field of Source Object(Account, Contacts any Standard or Custom Object) to Virtual Inspection Object.
Click on the Gear Icon and go to setup.
Search for Custom Setting in Quick Find Box.
Click on Manage of “Virtual Inspection Field Mappings”.
Click on New to Create New Entry.
Create Entries for:
First Name
Last Name
Phone
Email
Configuration of Virtual Inspection on Objects other than Account and Contact Object
Go to Setup -> Object Manager -> Virtual Inspection Object.
Go to Fields and Relationships.
Create a new lookup field for the Object from where you want to run Virtual Inspection.
Process Builder:
From Setup 🡪 Process Builder in Quick find box.
Create New Process Builder.
Name – Run Virtual Inspection from( Source Object).
Process Starts When : A Record Changes.
Object: Virtual Inspection.
Start the Process When: Record is Created or Edited.
Define Criteria for this Action Group:
Criteria for Executing Action: Conditions Are met.
Field : Parent_Record_Id__c
Operator: Does Not Equal.
Type: Global Constant.
Value : Null.
Add Actions
Action Type: Update Records.
Record Type: [cm_datatransfer__Virtual_Inspection__c].
Criteria for Updating the Record: No Criteria just Update the Record.
Set new field values for the records you update
Field : Lookup Field we created earlier.
Type: Formula.
Value:[cm_datatransfer__Virtual_Inspection__c].cm_datatransfer__Parent_Record_Id__c
Configuration of Virtual Inspection on Objects other than Account and Contact Object
Go to your Source Object from Object Manager.
Click on “Buttons, Links and Actions”.
Click New Action.
Save the Record.
Now Go to Page Layout of your Source Object.
Add the Lightning Component.
Add the Related List on the Page Layout.
